The band consists of 4 members at present. We have Omair on Lead Guitars, Fahad on Rhythem Guitar, Ahmed on Vocals and Umer on Drums. However we are on a search for a Bass Guitarist.

When and who initiated 'False Alarm' to form?

Our story is strange, yet very interesting. Fahad and Umar are playing music from quite a few years. Being in the same school, I never knew that our vocalist (Ahmed) and lead guitarist (Omer) were also playing music for quite some time. It was until last year when Umer and Ahmed came up with an idea of performing as a band at our school party. We had our first jam, just to see how we 4 collectively play. That was the day when we decided to joint as a band.

What does the band name 'False Alarm' mean and how did u come up with such a name?

As far as we think, the name 'False Alarm' means to get the souls elected as to instigate every one's heart who listen our songs. The band's name was suggested by our very close friend Faizan Zahid', before that we came up with quiet a number of names for our band ranging from Urdu to English but, we all 4 found that 'False Alarm' is an appropriate name for our band.

How long have you been involved in the Music?

Its about an year now. It is just for fun and to spread the intensity of our music. To be honest, music had been a legacy for us from the morel our music environment throughout Pakistan and through out the world.

What kind of music do you play? And what are its musical influences?

We like to play and obviously play heavy metal, fusion, pop etc. our musical influences are due to those famous personalities who worked very hard to play music & to develop the whole music scenario in our beloved country, here we are proud to take the names like Amir Zaki, Asad Ahmed etc.

What is your prediction of your debut song 'Awaz Do Mujhko'?

We believe that our debut song is a good one, as it comprises of a fusion of Rock & Pop elements. Simple yet very catchy composition & lyrics, hope you all would listen to it & may like it.

Who helped in composing the song? Tell us more about your song 'Awaz Do Mujhko' …

The initial song writing process is the hard work of Omer & Ahmed. They came up with the composition & lyrics while Omer, Umair & Fahad gave it the final touches so as to make it as perfect as possible.

Have you had any musical training?

Only Fahad took guitar tuitions for a couple of months from a music academy named 'Funsaaz' while Omer, Ahmed and Oair did'nt took any formal training its all their inborn talent.

What do you think, should a musician have the basic knowledge of music, is it important?

Obviously, it is very important for every musician to have a basic knowledge of music so as to make it feasible for their band members to coordinate with each other. A good musician should be dedicated to what he does and possesses a basic education on music as music is a soul for a body.

How do you plan to promote it in the current media scene?

Well 'E Paki Music' is our first source for launching our music. We are really looking forward to comply with 'E Paki Music' in future as well.

Do you plan to release some more songs, before the VDO that is?

Though we don't have plans for a while being to release any video but we are composing some new songs and planning to make an album as soon as possible.

Where do you jam your songs?

We usually jam at Omer's place.

How do you think, can the current media scene, support in rising the underground bands?

The current media scene is a very good source of promoting underground band. They infact are the main source for less matured bands which are enriched with talent to come up and prove them selves at.

Have you ever performed live on stage? Which has been your most memorable concert of all times?

We have performed quite a couple of times and had been a great experience for us. Most memorable concert of all time was our live performance at our school i.e. St. Micheal's Convent School on 21st April 05, in which we rocked the party.

What are the feelings that you go through before a show and after it?

Before a show we are determined, confident and always ready to deliver the best. And after the show we enjoy the compliments from those who liked our performance.
